We are doing this race to show every child with a limb difference that courage has no limits, strength has no shape, and they are already more powerful than they know. It’s a chance for us all to show each other that we can do anything if we put our minds to it.

It’s so so important that we continue to raise money for the charities that need our support. REACH is one of those charities. As an ambassador for the charity, I see the pay off of every single pound raised, whether that’s at the annual family weekend, feedback and posts from young people taking part in programmes like the 18-25 programme or parents getting support and when they don’t know where to turn for answers and advice.
Now, I’m not great at running! And I can’t even use having the baby as an excuse… I was never any good! But every step I take during the triathlon, will remind me why I’m doing it. Because I wish I’d have had Reach in my life growing up and I want to do all I can to ensure it’s in the lives of children and adults with limb differences for years to come so that no one is left out of this gorgeous community.
