Jane Vellacott, Volunteer Clothes Adaption

Jane Vellacot

After a career as a science teacher overseas and in the UK, 3 Birth children and later fostering teenage children, I am now retired and have more time for walking, gardening, and creative hobbies.

A whizz with a sewing machine I would like to help the Reach community by making clothes fit perfectly, and potentially teaching people with ULD to sew… “There are so many ways that sewing can be useful, creative and fun.

From mending and personalised alterations, to repurposing fabrics and making new things. I’m here, how can I help?” contact the Reach Team to connect with me: reach@reach.org.uk
