Jane has been a member of Reach since her son Robert was born in 1991. For many years she was happy for her husband Nigel to be active in Reach, first as a Trustee and then as Chairman of the Trustees. She started writing articles for the magazine when it was re-launched in 1997 and contributed for a number of years. When the position of Editor became vacant Jane felt it was time to play her own part in the Association. She had been working as a writer in magazines and felt she had the professional knowledge, personal experience and enthusiasm necessary for the job. Jane welcomes, articles, information and personal stories for the magazine. She says, "Being Editor of the magazine has been even better than I expected. It has been so lovely making contact with all our friends in Reach again. I really enjoy hearing from the members and trying to make "Within Reach" relevant and interesting to everyone.
