When Chris' son Colm was born there was only a fledgling support organisation in Ireland and the Health Service, being different to the UK, offered little in the way of help and advice to families of children with a limb deficiency. Reach was at least able to offer friendship and support and a strong bond was formed between the organisation and the families in Ireland. Chris' commitment, business background and his personal experience as a Reach parent make him a great asset to the Board.
