Associated Syndromes
Although the cause of most limb deformities is unknown, some hand or arm abnormalities are part of a genetic syndrome. The membership of Reach includes families of children with the following syndromes:
Radial Aplasia
TOFS ( Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistual Syndrome)
Polands Anomoly
Hypoglassia-Hypo-dactylia
TAR. ( Thrombocytopenia Absent Radius)
Holt Oram
Cornelia de Lange
Hanhart
Femur/fibula/ulna syndrome
VATER ( Vertebral/Vascular, Anal, Tracheo, Oesophageal fistula, Renal/Radial)
Some with an acquired condition such as Erb's Palsy
